Jennifer and Josh’s engagement shoot was full of style and energy! Engagement shoots are a great time to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. You will have a blast and be totally ready for your wedding day pictures!
Amanda and Aaron are by far one of the most creative couples I’ve had the chance to work with and their engagement shoot ideas were SO AMAZING. They had this idea of a throwback day full stacked with milkshakes, a picnic and lots and lots of love! Then we finished in the city for a few sunset shots. Let’s go to Lexington!

We had a fun engagement photo shoot with Katie and Chad around downtown Chicago. We started in the River North area to get some great skyline shots along the Chicago River and then worked our way over to Millennium Park and Buckingham Fountain. Schmidt Photography Weddings joined Amanda and Aaron in the historical small town of Lexington for a most beautiful sunny day. They are full of character and we had a blast joining them for their wedding!

We had a wonderful day with Mako and Walt around Kansas City for their local reception after getting married in Jamaica. Mako’s beach wedding dress and Walt’s linen suit made for a cool Kansas City look. Although we did not photograph their destination wedding, we brought it all together to build one awesome album.
