The Chicago Bridal Expo was a great success!!  Our big’ole pictures worked great and our booth was buzzin with excitement as brides and their entourages viewed our albums.  The show featured a curated selection of some of the best wedding vendors in Chicago and all the coolest trends for the upcoming year.  The wedding season is heating up as the snow is melting here in Chicago 🙂

Schmidt Photo at Luxury Chicago Bridal Expo

Valentines Day is tomorrow and our next Bridal Expo could not come at a more perfect time! We have been sifting through the thousands of images to find the very best for this next exhibition of wedding photography. We are going BIG with some super cool new banner prints (6 of them to be exact) and awesome new portfolio postcards for all visitors. Schmidt Photography Featured in The Knot Magazine

Wedding season is about to set in! We are heading out to start the Kansas City wedding fun this weekend with Megan and Jeff. Its been cold around KC, but hopefully we will see spring on Saturday! We are also preparing for another huge bridal fair on March 14th. Here is an album from Aimee and Phil’s wedding last year. Their wedding was so cool that it was chosen to be featured in the Fall issue of The Knot magazine (big honor for them and US!) We will post a preview once it is publish, so check back for more. New Studio!! – Schmidt Photo Weddings

A new studio space is on the way!! I signed on the line for a space in the River Market area in Kansas City that is going to be absolutely awesome. We started work last week, grinding down the floors and various other renovations. The floor was coated with an epoxy yesterday and we will start repainting tomorrow.

P.S. We have shot some amazing weddings over the last few weeks, and they will be up soon. Renovating this new studio space has been taking up all of my time.
